When a dog speaks to you they bark

From a human perspective barking is annoying

From a human perspective when a dog barks and our thick human heads can figure out what they are actually saying it's rather fascinating - like oh the bone is buried between the pillows - thanks for telling me

The problem is when the dog is standing in front of the oven barking her head off - it's like "WHAT?" Cuz I just don't get it 

When the dog barks and I am not listening then I feel bad

I forget the rythym of a dogs world sometimes

the sniff,eat,poop,sleep, and bark world and not necessarily in any particular order, just isn't the same as my world

Normally her world is rather formulated since we humanized her- it took us awhile, but we got her world to fit into ours quite nicely

It's called routine

So she eats at a certain time, pees and poops at a certain time - you get the drift

and then I do something humanly stupid like treat her to a sunday special breakfast egg, cuz that's what we do on sunday

and forget the eat them poop mentality of the dog

or the break in the routine

so when she's barking like mad, while I am in the shower after breakfast and I come out to a mess on the floor - it's not her fault - she tried to tell me

I've GOT to GO!!

What I should have done had I thought at all in dog was to take her out quickly in the yard and let her do her business before I hit the shower

then she wouldn't have to humiliate herself and go in the house

I have alot to learn

She's going to be a great teacher
