I was near the Muskegan area and I couldn't agree with you more, the bed and breakfast we stayed in even served vegetables at breakfast (!) Their local farmers market is twice a week and it has a permanant structure that houses it. I think the Michigan locals do eat " locally " My complaint was actually about the house salads at restraunts. I'd LOVE to go to your parent's house!

What part of Michigan were you visiting? Funny, I was just telling some friends how the local food is just amazing in Michigan. My parents get everything from local farms, so we eat a lot of locally grown food in the summer up in Michigan. Maybe you need to come to my parent's house. :)

I hope this information is helpful to other readers! My Brain and my Body are no longer Bloated! Six years ago, my body began an unexpected post-menopausal journey through a maze filled discomfort and confusion. My mantra was, “I am not digesting my food properly.” No one could give me a clear direction, let alone a cure. I finally discovered that I had become gluten intolerant. Now, I only eat rice and millet. Our eldest son has Type 1 diabetes and I had always had a dairy allergy, so it was easy for me to modify my diet. Then, I discovered that I could not tolerate soy, sugar and fermented foods. When I began working with Karen, she offered me EZ-Gest® along with Optiflora® Probiotic Complex. I had tried other digestive enzymes, however they did not work as well as EZ-Gest®. I use the EZ-Gest twice a day without fail, and if I forget, my body reminds me! Brava for EZ-Gest® and Karen’s knowledgeable consultation!
